In my life so far, I have seen horses and ponies from many different angles: Growing up in a family of riders, trainers and breeders, they were initially friends and indispensable partners when playing cowboys and Indians, later they became my wonderful partners on the show jumping course. Over time, the perspective of the observing trainer was added and expanded to include that of the listening animal communicator and the feeling osteopathic horse therapist and acupuncturist.

All these perspectives made me realize how wonderful these animals are. But at that time I was not yet able to portray their beauty. Through photography, I am able to show them and focus on their personality. With the photo compositions and collages, I go beyond purely depictive photography and combine my artistic intentions with the radiant personality of the horses.

I always feel a deep sense of gratitude when horses allow me to capture their life and character as a silent observer with my camera. I receive their permission to experience them. Their beauty and grace is my inspiration.
